How We Learned To Boost Immunity
The last year was completely full of chaos one leading to the other, all due to the pandemic that engulfed the entire world and it is still there. However, when we faced that unprecedented situation we were not familiar with at all, we didn’t know how to cope with it. All of a sudden our lives collectively changed course and it was not like we chose to do so willingly, but, were intimidated by something that we could not defeat and something that was beyond our control, and it changed the way we lived perhaps forever.
Every day was a struggle, we were suddenly having to adjust to new ways of life and sometimes we even had to invent new ways of life only to remain functional, we managed our weight with weight loss juice as we were not going to the gym anymore. The only thing that got us going was the fact that we’re all so keen on survival and also the fact that we were in it together. Almost literally the world was pushed into the same boat without the knowledge where it was headed.
The year undeniably taught us so much, the most valuable lesson was never take things for granted because there could be a life altering change. But, not all the lessons were dark in nature, some were good, we were brought back to the roots we veered away from. As the pandemic reminded us of the importance of the immune system and how we need to tend to this to survive, we learned to focus on the natural ways to boost immunity. That was a good start. Now, let us think about the biggest lessons that we learned.
· There was a new focus on the health, people who used to take it lightly even they realized that health is indeed wealth. There is a new interest in herbal solutions like wheatgrass fresh juice. People started to work out at home, as the gym was out of the question, and you need some different activities to fill up the 24 hours that you have to spend indoors, watching grim news on TV and wondering if somehow we all stepped into a dystopian era.
· Taking things for granted was not only limited to certain privileges, but, it also included people including our family and friends earlier. Spending time with them was something we did not considered important or, the friends you hang out with often didn’t seem so important until you were no longer allowed to meet them anymore. It did teach you how special people could be.
· The year taught us to be patient, it was not like we all joined some class to learn how to develop patience but, we did. We were patient because there was no other alternative. We used the time to do our own research and started giving our diet a healthy twist, and the best supplements to boost immune system became a part of our life.
The year taught us some lessons that no one is likely to forget in their lifetime. Let us all hope we could be a better versions of ourselves in the years to come.
